About the Owners
A graduate of De Pauw University, Kyle Gustie worked briefly in commercial equipment financing before successfully following his true passion of music and event management in the entertainment business. Gustie’s diverse experience includes 10 years managing all major events and corporate sponsored tours for one of the nation’s largest marketing companies, GMR Marketing.
Clients included Miller Brewing Company, Kraft Foods, Nokia Mobile Phones, Microsoft, Airwalk, Philip Morris, and Coleman. Major corporate-sponsored music tours and celebrity sponsorships included Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Stone Temple Pilots, Garbage, Nelly, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Brooks & Dunn, Vince Gill, Magic Johnson, Bob Newhart, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, George Strait, Dixie Chicks, O-Town, and Metallica. The AXE House Party, Degree Gel Party in Hell (Cayman Islands), Super Bowls XXVIII-XXXV, George Strait Country Music Festival, 1996 Summer Olympics, and the Icehouse Truck Drop are among the corporate-sponsored events produced by Gustie.
Prior to his role at GMR Marketing, Gustie managed one of Chicago’s most successful club bands, Dick Holliday and the Bamboo Gang, securing a sponsorship with Miller Brewing Company and transforming the band into a national touring act that played from Minneapolis to Cancun, and from L.A. to the Virgin Islands.
Kyle Gustie joined Brinson Strickland to form 262 Five, Ltd in 2003.

Brinson Strickland’s career in the Entertainment Industry began in 1989. After graduating from Texas Christian University, Brinson moved to Nashville, TN becoming a full time touring musician. He joined forces with multi-platinum recording artist Bryan White as guitar player and vocalist, while also donning the Tour Manager and Tour Accountant hats for White. Brinson spent seven years performing with White in nearly every conceivable venue across the world.
After 11 years on the road, Brinson left to begin his entrepreneurial career as an Artist Manager and Event Producer. In 1999, he became a partner in JAG Management, managing Brad Paisley and Josh Turner. In 2002, Brinson became an Artist Manager with McGhee Entertainment, one of the Industry’s premier Entertainment Companies. McGhee Entertainment guides the careers of Artist such as KISS, Darius Rucker, Clint Black, Hootie and the Blowfish, Toto, Night Ranger and many others.
In 2003, Brinson formed 262 Five, Ltd with Kyle Gustie.
Brinson has been prominent in the Nashville music community for 20 years as a member of the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, and serving on the Board of the Belmont University School of Music.
Brinson resides in Nashville, TN with his wife of 16 years and 2 children, where he enjoys travel, reading, cooking, golf, fine wine and great cigars.
